New Members and Beginners
New Members will be enrolled on the first and third Sunday of each month at 9:15 am.
New Members and Pink, Purple and Blue classes run from 9.30 to 10.00, more experienced members from 9.00 to 9.30
We train young puppies and dogs of all ages. For the safety of your dog and other's, we request that your pet is to be fully vaccinated, and certificates be presented upon enrolment. You must also have a webbing or leather lead and a check chain or fixed collar on your dog.
If you are coming for the first time you will need to bring with you a good handful for tasty treats to reward your dog with. Examples include small pieces of chicken, sausage or cheese. They need to be small enough for your dog to swallow fast and interesting enough that the dog will come for them when other dogs are around. You also need to have some bags to pick up poo (these are available in the park if you forget).
Please be aware that the environment is very exciting for a dog and you will need to keep an eye on your dog in case they are becoming over excited or reactive.
Yearly subscriptions to the Eastern Suburbs Obedience Dog Club are as follows (cash, cheque or by direct transfer on the day, we do not have credit card facilities):
