Taster Day
Rally & Flyball
When: Sunday 8 March we will host a dog sport taster day.
Why: This is a wonderful opportunity for you to watch demonstrations of two different dogs sports and most importantly have a try with your dog.
Rally
Originally called "Rally Obedience", then "Rally-O", now more commonly called "Rally", is a fast-moving and motivational sport for both dogs and their owners. The sport requires dog and owner to work together as a team to complete various exercises in a set course that demonstrates competency in basic obedience exercises.
There is a total of 91 signs available to be placed on a Rally course gradually increasing in complexity from Novice, through Advanced, Excellent and Master levels.
Flyball
Flyball is a relay race between two teams of four dogs. Racing side by side, one dog from each team must go over four hurdles, retrieve a ball by triggering a Flyball box pedal and then return over the hurdles to the start/finish line; when the next dog eagerly repeats the steps.
